Home for Hope is a residential children’s home in Asebu, Ghana, offering care, shelter, and stability to orphans and vulnerable children. Reopened in 2024 after major renovations, the home currently houses 25 children and serves as a critical lifeline for those facing abandonment or hardship.
Home for Hope is a residential care home in Asebu, Ghana, operated by our long-time partner, Alliance for Youth Development (AYD). Founded in 2012, the home was created to provide safe housing, emotional care, and long-term support for children without stable families.
After government-mandated orphanage closures in 2018, GO Fund worked closely with AYD to renovate and reopen the facility. In 2024, Home for Hope welcomed 25 children, with space for 15 more. Renovations included upgraded sanitation, structural improvements, and expanded dormitory space to create a more nurturing environment.
Many of the children living at Home for Hope now attend the nearby Pathfinder School, ensuring continuity in both care and education. Together, these programs provide vulnerable children with the foundation they need to thrive.
