The GO Girl Center provides a safe place for girls at risk of early marriage, FGM, and gender-based violence. Through shelter, mentorship, and skills-building opportunities, the center helps girls build confidence, independence, and hope for the future.
The GO Girl Center, based in Kilgoris, Kenya, provides a safe place for girls escaping early marriage, FGM, and gender-based violence. Operated by long-time partner Dupoto Flourish Africa, girls are referred to the center through community leaders, churches, and government agencies.
In addition to shelter and psychosocial support, girls receive mentorship, life skills education, and access to GO Fund programs that build skills and confidence, including Sew for Sisterhood, our vocational and entrepreneurship training program. The center helps girls strengthen their independence and develop the tools needed to pursue safe, stable, and self-directed futures.
