The Debbie Ann Deutsch Water Project is bringing reliable, clean water to more than 25,800 people across five communities in Ghana. Led in partnership with Alliance for Youth Development (AYD), the project responds to a critical need identified by the communities themselves.
Many families currently rely on unsafe or seasonal water sources, while women and girls can spend hours each day collecting water. The project is constructing mechanized water systems that use deep boreholes, storage tanks, and community tap stands to provide reliable water closer to where people live, learn, and access essential services.
The project was made possible through the generosity of Tyler Deutsch, who chose to fund it in memory of his mother, Debbie Ann Deutsch. His support is helping five communities build reliable water infrastructure designed to serve thousands of people for years to come.
