Our Team
Working alongside trusted local leaders to support long-term, community-led programs.
Meet our Founder & Executive Director
Sarah Davie, MPA
Sarah began her career in television before leaving the industry to pursue work addressing global challenges. In the early 2000s, she returned to graduate school to study nonprofit management and co-founded the Medical Relief Alliance, delivering critical medical equipment to hospitals across Africa.
After five years, the mission evolved to focus more deeply on women and children. In 2007, Sarah founded the Global Opportunity Fund (GO Fund) to support community-led programs that create education, training, and entrepreneurship opportunities in several countries in Africa.
With more than 20 years of experience working alongside partners in Ghana, Kenya & Uganda, Sarah continues to guide the GO Fund’s mission of creating opportunities that allow women and children to build their own futures.
