The Youth Entrepreneurship & Culinary Training Institute in Ghana provides hands-on training in animal production, farming, and food systems for young people seeking practical, employable skills.
The program focuses on real-world learning, with trainees actively engaged in livestock care, crop production, and agricultural best practices through a three-month training program.
In its first year, the institute is training a cohort of 10 students, equipping them with the knowledge and experience needed to pursue income-generating opportunities in agriculture. Early efforts have already contributed to food production, with vegetables grown by trainees supporting the Home for Hope program.
Funded by the Davie Family Foundation, the institute reflects a shared commitment to creating pathways to employment through skills-based training.
