The Culinary & Entrepreneurial Center in Kisii, Kenya, is a hands-on training hub in sustainable farming, nutrition, and food-based entrepreneurship, while also powering a local Meals on Wheels program for elders in need.
The Culinary & Entrepreneurial Center in Kisii, Kenya, is GO Fund’s hub for hands-on learning in agriculture, nutrition, and food-based entrepreneurship. Built in partnership with grassroots leaders, it trains youth in poultry farming, dairy, and organic gardening, including a paid two-year apprenticeship program designed to equip students with the skills and confidence to launch their own agricultural businesses.
The center supports Meals on Wheels, a program that provides hot, nutritious meals to elderly and blind women in the community. With over 700 chickens, 4 dairy cows, and a thriving 2-acre vegetable garden, it supplies schools and households while also offering practical business training.
Graduates are encouraged to pitch real-world business proposals and pursue seed funding, reinforcing the center’s vision: not just to train farmers, but to launch entrepreneurs. Future plans include remote culinary training opportunities with global partners.
