The vision of the Culinary and Entrepreneurial Center is to connect future food entrepreneurs in Kenya with technology, innovation and shared knowledge transfer to help feed the hungry.
Founded by Sarah Davie, this center integrates sustainable farming, nutrition, and entrepreneurship training for the local community.
Key features include a cow shed for organic manure production, a double-decker chicken coop housing 2,000 egg-laying chickens, and extensive vegetable gardens. The upcoming Mama Sarah’s Kitchen will serve as a training center, teaching locals to prepare nutritious meals using farm produce, eggs, and milk.
The project also launched a Meals on Wheels program, delivering fresh produce, milk, eggs, and hot meals weekly to elderly residents with limited mobility. This initiative not only enhances food security but also empowers the community through practical agricultural and nutritional education.
