Sew for Sisterhood teaches women the vocational skills of sewing and batik. This program began in Ghana. These technical skills enable women to earn a stable income to support themselves and their children.

Recently we expanded this program to Kenya where 10 women have begun a one-year apprentice program. The program allows women to learn a skill and be able to produce items on their own to sell. This gives them the dignity to be their own business owner.
